Welcoming home situated on the outskirts of an "old market" town - Newcastlewest. On the main road (N21) very easy to find us, closeby is a Petrol Station, with Shop and Cafe.
Tea/Coffee is served by host - Nuala on arrival. As our home is single storey - you have no stairs to climb making it easily accessible when carrying heavy luggage. Comfortable beds to ensure a good night's sleep after a tiring journey.
As our home is situated halfway between Limerick and Kerry, and within one hour of Shannon or Kerry Airport, our home is an ideal stopover on your travels. Use of Garden at the rear of house. Newcastlewest is probably best known for its Mineral Water - called "Ballygowan" Spring/Sparkling Water.
There is a good choice of Restaurants/Pubs locally where you can enjoy anything from a "toasted" Sandwich to a full Dinner or better still the Pint of "Guinness". There is also an extensive Park called the "Demesne" within walking distance from our house and is very popular with locals and visitors alike for walks, picnics, walking the dog, or just to get away from the "hustle and bustle" of everyday life. 13th Century Desmond Castle open to the Public in the main Town Square.
Every effort will be made to make your stay as relaxed as possible. The nearest Beach is within 45 mins drive and is called Ballybunion -in Co Kerry. Horseriding, or Golf for the more active can all be arranged during your stay in Shanagarry.
