Close to several safe sandy beaches and 6 mins. drive to the renowned Derrynane National Park which offers some of the most beautiful scenery and walks imaginable. The Derrynane National park covers an area of 320 acres and includes woodland and a nature trail of over 1.5km of shoreline and has a stunning beach of golden sands (Blue flag beach) Fishing and sea sports can be enjoyed here. Other local amenities include horse-riding at the Eagle rock stables with Caroline golf at Waterville or Parknasilla.

For walking you can day trip to Sneem or Waterville on the Kerry way We can arrange to pick you up after your walk. Take a memorable trip to the Skellig rock UNESCO world heritage site. Trips can be arranged locally the boat leaves daily from a local pier and weather permitting you will enjoy a wonderful day.You can enjoy a bit of craic nightly at OCarrols beach bar where music is played. You can also dine here and enjoy lovely sea views. At the Olde Forge you will be made very welcome and we will do all we can to make your stay a good one.Enjoy Cathys home-baking for breakfast and Regs traditional cooked breakfast. We can also do evening meals and light snacks if you want to relax in our dining room and enjoy the beautiful sea views. You may bring your own wine if you wish.
